Monthly Refund/Withdrawal RequestsRRSP, Home Buyers’ Plan and Life Long Learning Plan RefundsWritten Refund Withdrawal Requests: All requests must include the Member’s name, Member number or Account Number and personal signature. Failure to include the above information will result in the rejection of the refund request. Requests must also be received via mail or fax at our office in Toronto or Vancouver no later than the following Request Deadline Date in order for the funds to be available for that month’s Cheque Distribution Date. A letter containing all the above information is acceptable; however, Form 20: Request for RRSP Withdrawal, is also available at our website under the “Forms” section. Please note: AFBS will only issue one refundlwithdrawal per Member, per month. Any and all requests received after the Request Deadline Date will be processed for the next month’s Cheque Distribution Date. Importantly , please ensure that your request clearly indicates whether the required refund amount is the Gross amount (prior to tax and fees deductions) or the Net amount (after tax and fees deductions).
